Students will be engaged in an hour of language classes every day, except for field trip days, where they will explore the language through their senses and practice vocabulary, conversation, reading and writing. They will receive a text book to work on, as well as reinforcement material.
Students will participate in one our of interactive language lab. They will work with a partner or in groups to create projects, experiments, roleplaying, songs, videos, games, etc. in the language of study.
Students 5 and up will choose between two to three different electives during the afternoon hours; arts, music, drama, cooking, sculpting, jewelery making, drawing, cake design, run way/fashion, fishing, aerobics, yoga, zumba, etc. These will be held for the Spanish summer camp.
For 3 and 4 year old spanish campers and all other languages, students will participate in art activities in the afternoons performed in the language of study. These include arts and crafts, music, cooking and dance.
Campers receive one hour of team sport activities on Mondays and Fridays of each week. On Tuesdays campers enjoy a day out by our lake cannoeing, fishing, peddle boating as well as archery and boot camp. On Thursdays, campers will have fun in the sun during water activities.
Campers will enjoy a day out on a field trip every Wednesday.
Campers will enjoy a fun-filled team building experience every other Friday afternoon. Activities include, obstacle courses, carnival games, paint ball course, relay races, sport competitions, GaGa ball competitions, special guests, and much more.
